Colorado Rockies Home Run the Homeless 5k

This morning I did my second 5k! The running race started at 8:15am, with all of the walkers to follow. I got to the start line at about 8:25am, their was nobody there! I was seriously the last person to cross the start line. But thankfully I caught up to the cop car who was behind the last group, so that I wouldn't get run over!
Crossing the Platte River

Walking onto Coors Field
The main reason I wanted to do this 5k, was because the Finish line was home base on Coors Field, where the Colorado Rockies play (the baseball team). Well I was mistaken. The final "lap" is around Coors Field. Which was still a lot of fun, and a great picture opportunity.

This race was a completely different experience compared to Race for the Cure. Obviously not has many people, but still a fun experience. I finished this race in 50 minutes. Their wasn't as much to take pictures of, and a lot more room to run, although I would have liked 45 minutes, oh well. Their is always next time!

Cool, that looked like a lot of fun. I love the pictures. Races are fun because they always seem to give a sense of accomplishment. Way to go!

I have nightmares about getting to a race after it has started!
