surprise ending

****the bachelorette spoiler below****

ali and roberto

so i have to say this was a shocker.
a few season's ago i discovered Reality Steve. this a website that has the spoilers of who the bachelor or bachelorette are going to pick at the end. the site is addicting, so unless you wanna know don't check it out. for ali's season in particular their were a lot of details and spoilers only 2 weeks after the season starting airing. this guy knew everything. the details of all the dates and who went home at each rose ceremony. knowing what's going to happen didn't stop me from watching because i still wanted to see it happening and all the little details.
the main prediction for this season was the outcome. that being that ali is single. that she chose no one. once i read that, i immediately became uninterested in the season, but still watched.
then i checked the link today and read that the prediction was wrong. that ali sends chris home prior to the rose ceremony (which is why we didn't see any footage of the 2 guys at the last rose ceremony) and that she picks roberto. i totally wish i hadn't read that, because that would have been such a great surprise. needless to say i hurried home after my workout to get caught up and see how it all played out. i totally see that ali loves roberto. and i'm happy for them, and happy that ABC was able to make the ending such a surprise. while reading steve's predictions he gave very creditable reasoning, clues, and hints, that ali was single.
i have only watched the last 10 minutes of after the final rose, but roberto and ali seem happy, and i hope it works out.
i love chris. he looks like an ex of mine, but much better looking because he has a much better personality than my ex from 9 years ago.

watching this show forces me to reflect on my life. and the love that i want in my life. the love that i crave. i realize that i'm on this journey right now, that centers around me, focuses on me, and making me better. healthier, stronger, more confident. but it doesn't mean i don't want someone to share it all with. i like to think that i've taken the past couple of years to soley focus on myself in preparation for love. for that man i will love and will love me. but of course, that isn't a guarantee. all i can do is continue what it is that i'm doing. keep going on this path. continue to pray and to hope that maybe a true and deep love will enter my life. that one day this piece of my puzzle might show up for me to put together. or maybe that piece isn't meant to be for me. that all of my puzzle pieces are here, and my life is about me fine tuning those pieces. making them the best that they can be.

beautiful dresses

so i've only watched the first 40 minutes of the oscar's but i did spend time yesterday watching all the pre-oscar shows highlighting all of the glitz and glamour of the event. here are my top three best dressed with an honorable mention.

sarah jessica parker
- i love this dress. it is so different. i love the neckline with the unique straps, the detailing, the shape everything. i saw this and immediately loved it!
via*
rachel mcadams - i love this print! it's like a painting of watercolor. this isn't the greatest picture, but the flowiness of the dress with the print is gorgeous!
via*
queen latifa - the color, the bling, the asymmetrical hemline all are beautiful!
via*
anna kendrick - i seriously love her. i think this dress is classic elegance. a little bit of lace, the color, and the draping are all amazing.
via*
i think that it would be so much fun to get all dressed up to attend an event like this. or just dress up. wear beautiful jewels, a dress made just for you, and be pampered. it would be so much fun!

my Grammy re-cap

i just got done watching the 2010 t, and thought i would give my 2cents. i realize the grammy's were almost a week ago, but i just now sat down to watch the show. for the most part i really enjoyed it, but i feel like a lot of the performances in the middle of the show could have been taken out.

first is fashion.
pink wins my vote for best dressed. her dress is stunning, and her husband is some beautiful eye candy.
honorable mention to taylor swift. i love the color blue, and this dress is gorgeous. i think taylor swift is an ok singer/performer, but what i do love about her is that she does write her own stuff, and she is so humble. plus she looks like she is awesome hugger. i'm a hug type person, just as long as it is a good hug. and when she wins an award, gets up on stage and hugs whoever is presenting, you can tell that she really hugs them. that's awesome.
now onto the performances.

lets start with lady gaga. just once i would like to see this chick look normal, and do a normal performance. it probably won't happen, i'm just saying. i've actually seen lady gaga in concert. remember when i went to go see the new kids on the block way back in november 2008. lady gaga was an opener for NKOTB. at the time i had no idea who she was. i didn't even take pictures of her. crazy how she has sky rocketed into this huge star.

next beyonce. she's my pick for best performance. hers was my favorite. i love the fact that her whole band is female, and all her dancers were male.

pink's performance gets my pick for most beautiful. it was just awesome to look at. truly artistic.

the black eyed pea's performance gets my vote for best performance to get up and dance to! that song is just so much fun!

the collaboration of Micheal Jackson's "what about us" just about brought me to tears.

last but not least. the dave matthew's band. their songs gets picked for best to sing along to! i love how dave danced along to his song.

another round

i realize that their are only 5 girls left, so it seems kinda lame to make a prediction for who will be the last 3 standing, but i figured, why not? abc is at it again with another round of the bachelor. my top pick for jake is ali. although at this point in time i'm pretty positive that whomever he picks, won't turn into a long lasting relationship, let alone marriage. i'm not too sure why i feel that way i just do. well actually i do know why i feel that way. because he was so quick to eliminate so many girls last week. that he knew just weren't "his wife". this show is about opportunity, and in my opinion getting rid of those last two girls at the end of the rose ceremony was throwing away an opportunity. maybe neither of those girls were meant to be, but that doesn't mean he couldn't learn something from either of them. and if he isn't open to that, this whole process is really just a waste for him.
vienna is last season's wes. jake needs to make his own conclusion about him, just like jillian had to find out herself that wes was up to no good. but like the rest of america i'm ready for her to leave.

corrie. corrie is funny. this is why i like her. she's just now starting to become a top runner in the show. and i hope jake gets to know her.
tenley. i think jake likes the innocence that tenley has, even though she has baggage. i'm pretty sure she has some issues to deal with, and her high pitched voice freaks me out a little. i'm thinking she'll be the 2nd woman standing, and i just hope that she isn't the next "bachelorette".
ali. she's my favorite. i hope she gets the ring. she's beautiful and seems the most genuine. and she had that instant connection with jake from the start.
here's to a happy ending that we all want in life!

balloon boy

people here are calling it "the boy and his balloon". not balloon boy, because, well the boy was NEVER in the balloon. i suppose i'm adding fuel to the fire, because this isn't news, yet here i am giving it attention. here in Denver my news of choice comes from 9 News. I'll randomly go to 9news.com to check out the days events. On Thursday i decided to check it out around lunch time when there was this coverage of a balloon in the sky and a 6 year old boy trapped inside. your first thought is "oh my god, how did THAT happen?!" then you start freaking out about this poor boy, and praying that he is ok. 9news reported that it was "the family" (when the story was first reported the family hadn't given there name, or the boys name) who originally contacted 9news to have there helicopter go up and help rescue the boy. i'm hoping that this was the second telephone call that the family made, and that the first call was made to 9-1-1. in my opinion that is the first red flag. why would your second telephone call be made to a news station? ...because you want this to be news. and why if you seriously thought your little 6 year old boy was inside of that balloon would you want it to unfold on TV. ...to have the balloon land, and searched with a high possibility of a life-less body found inside. ...because you (the family) knew that when the balloon landed there wouldn't be anything to find because the balloon would be empty. funny how all the pieces are slowly coming together, isn't it?
when you see that balloon land, it is apparent that nothing was inside. did you see how smooth the landed was? if a 6year old child who weights 37 pounds were inside the landing wouldn't have been so smooth. ...and of course reports have now come out that that balloon never could have carried a 37 pound anything in the first place.
it was also originally reported that it was the 6 year old and his older brother who were outside playing when the balloon got lose. but then a video emerged where the dad was also outside, and he saw the balloon get lose and float away. at that moment how do you not know where your kids are at? how is that you could think one is inside? i don't get it.

i'm kinda over the whole story. it was exciting watching the balloon live, and seeing it land live. but now i'm done. one of the funniest jokes i've seen in regards to "balloon boy" was Saturday night on SNL during Weekend Update. You see Seth Meyers with a picture of the balloon on the screen and he says "And on Thursday a boy hid in his attic."
The below clip isn't the one i just mentioned, but it was another funny part of Weekend Update.

i so called it!

The next Bachelor is Jake! Which was my prediction back in June! I have to say I feel pretty darn cool. Seeing the rest of the Bachelorette and how Jake handled the whole Wes situation etc... honestly I'm not really looking forward to this new season. Jake to me seems kinda boring, because he is that super nice, good guy. But, there is no edge to him. Now don't get me wrong, I will watch it, but I think Reid or Kiptyn would have been a better choice. And I'm sure the producers will create some sort of drama for us to watch.
Good luck Jake!

my guilty pleasure

Mtv.
Seriously.

I have yet to watch the entire Video Music Awards, but tonight I did watch the first 30 minutes, that were uninterrupted.
Let me first say that I've been watching Mtv since I was young. Probably middle school, when my parents first got cable. My parents never really watched what I watched on TV and Mtv was soon on my dial all the time. I remember every Friday Daisy Fuentes did the top 20 videos of the week. That was the official kick off to my weekend. It was a full 60 minutes of videos.
Moving on, that opening number literally put me to tears. Granted Madonna didn't write what she said, but what she said was so powerful. She put Michael Jackson's life into many well put words.
Then the dancing. Oh dear, the dancing. It is no secret that I love dancing. But those dancers, dancing with MJ in the background. Wow.
Then Janet Jackson. I love Janet Jackson. She was my first concert. And to this day I love her. If I could dance with anyone, it would be her.
When "Scream" first came out, I watched the video over and over. The part at the end where they dance together, I taught myself that exact sequence. When she came out and did just that with Michael on the big screen, I cried. Tears rolling down my face. To me it was beautiful.

WickedCool!

Another season of the Bachelorette is over and done. I called 2 out of 3....which ain't bad, if I do say so myself. Right before Kiptyn got out of the limo, I kept saying "she chose Kiptyn, she chose Kiptyn..." once Kiptyn got out, and gave way that Ed was the last one standing, I got SO excited! Over the past few weeks I've realized that Ed was the perfect package of all her last few selections. He even has a tiny bit of edge like what she liked in Wes, which is just enough for her.

I have obviously never been in a situation like Jill, but she is one special girl to get 3 proposal's in one night!, from 3 different guys. Granted Kiptyn didn't propose but he almost did. Did you see him check on the ring while they were walking back? She is one lucky girl.

I'm a little bit nervous for tomorrow's "After the Final Rose" because last season seemed to have ended with a happy ending, and then everything went up in the air at the "After the Final Rose" when Jason changed his mind. So I am truly hoping that Jillian and Ed are still together. I would love to see them last.

let's catch up

I really have no idea where to start. So I'm just going to go down the line of my previous post. Along with a couple of other things that I'm going to add to the list.

Rhode Island run down:
Thurs. 6/18 - This was a long day. My father booked me on a 6am flight. I take the bus to/from the airport via the park and ride near my house. Of course with such an early departure the buses only depart every hour and a half. So I had to catch the bus at 3:40am. Not fun. I flew in Atlanta, to meet my parents 3 hours later. We almost missed our flight to Providence because my father disappeared. And got on the plane with 15 seconds to spare - seriously. Once arrived my Uncle John and Aunt Margaret picked us up to have dinner over at my cousin Charlene's. I was greeted by my 2nd cousin/God daughter Katherine. She is 2 and 1/2 now, so cute and all over the place. I have a post in the works dedicated just to her. She showed me her "big girl" bed, along with jumping, and saying "GO Avalanche". Her father is a New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox Fan, so I gave her a hockey team to cheer for! I got to help put Katherine to bed and see her as a big sister to Joshua. It was a lot of fun to see my mom with the kids. Hopefully one day I'll be able to make her a grandma.

Fri. 6/19 - We spent this day going to Newport. My Uncle drove us all around the mansions, and Newport Bay. We had lunch in Newport. That evening we went to Connecticut to the Mohegan Sun Casino, and Foxwoods. We just walked around. The casino's there are really nice.

Sat. 6/20 - My parents and I went to Martha's Vineyard. The whole time while we were there it was raining. It wasn't raining hard or stormy, it was just rainy. Because of this the ferry ride to Martha's Vineyard was a little bumpy. The total trip to the island was about an hour and 45 minutes. And about 45 minutes in all the kids got sick on the boat. It was gross. I had never seen anything like it. Once on the island we went on a bus tour around the island. It was really nice, and took us all around. It's a beautiful place. The weather was actually good and we got to talk around. In Martha's Vineyard they have gingerbread houses that are beautifully detailed. (pictures to come) We unfortunately didn't stay in Martha's Vineyard very long, but it was nice to be there. I had never been there but am glad we went.

Sun. 6/21 - We spent the day at the Beach House. Charlene and her family were there and made us a fabulous dinner. I spent majority of the day outside with Katherine, playing and taking pictures. It was a lot of fun. I like to think that Katherine and I have a special bond, because we are God daughter and God mother. And of course, I think she is the most beautiful little girl ever. That evening we went to go see "The Proposal". It was a really cute movie. Very funny, and loved Sandra Bullocks outfits!

Mon. 6/22 - On this day my mom and I were suppose to go to Boston. Just my mom and I. A few months ago I started planning different things for my parents and I do while we were on this vacation. One of them was a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, the other was a day trip to Boston. Well my dad said he didn't want to go to Boston. So I planned a trip to Boston with things that my mom and I would enjoy. A Duck Tour, and lots of shopping. I did all of the research on this trip. Printed maps, found places to eat, found coupons, got all the information on the train to go to Boston, everything. Well the night before my dad asked if he could come to Boston with mom and I. I told him it was up to him. ...i couldn't tell him no. Then told my mom that if he came to Boston, I didn't want to go. I can't really be myself around my dad. I can't have fun around my dad. So we didn't go to Boston. I was really upset about it, because I was really looking forward to it. I have been to Boston before, but it was a long time ago, and I would have really liked to spend some time with my mom.
Instead that morning I went to gymnastics with Katherine, then that afternoon we drove to an outlet mall in Massachusetts.

Tues. 6/23 - This afternoon we went on a Lighthouse Tour cruise around Newport Bay. It was a lot fun and a different view of Rhode Island. That night I cooked everyone dinner.

Wed. 6/24 - We spent the morning with Katherine and Joshua. It was really hard to say goodbye. I wish so much that I was closer to Katherine. It breaks my heart to leave her.
When I arrived back at the park and ride to my car, I had a dead battery. I realized I left my light on inside of my car. Of course if I didn't have to be at the park and ride at 3:30am the light would have never been on, and would have never drained my battery. Thankfully my friend Sarah's, brother was in town and was able to come and give me a jump.

Overall it was an ok trip. I am thankful that my Uncle John drove us all around, and that I got to spend a lot of time with Katherine.

My friend having her first baby: While I was flying from Denver to Atlanta, my friend Brisa had her baby girl! Welcome Ilianna Zoe!, born June 18, 2009. I'm looking forward to meeting her in September when I go to Charlotte to visit. I am also looking forward to experiencing seeing Brisa in her new role as Mother. Over the last 2 years I've seen a lot of friends become Mother's. And it is a completely different experience when you see a good, lifelong friend become a Mom. I'm really looking forward to seeing that.

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. So sad. Incredibly sad. Let me tell you the story about how I heard of Michael Jackson's death. I was driving home from the park and ride to my house to get read to go to the gym(this drive is 5 minutes if that). And I was listening to the radio afternoon show that I normally listen to. And this woman called saying how Michael Jackson was to the 80's what Farrah Fawcett was to the 70's. And I thought, "well that is a weird comparison, since Michael Jackson is alive." And the more I heard on the radio, and was putting together the pieces thinking "did Michael Jackson die?". Once I got home I turned on the TV and saw that my thoughts were confirmed.
Michael Jackson was my first celebrity crush. When I was little I would go to my baby sitter's and their was this group of us kids that were too old for nap time. We would also turn on Michael Jackson and watch his video's. All of us girls would argue about who was going to marry Michael Jackson, while all of the boys were grossed out. I seriously thought I was going to marry Michael Jackson.
Thankfully I think he'll mostly be remembered by all of the positive things he did with his life, his music, and his dancing. I've been watching today all the different tributes to him, and wow, he was such an amazing dancer.

When I came home from Rhode Island my DVR wouldn't even turn on. While I was gone, I guess my DVR just decided to die. And it sucks. I like TV. And all of my recordings from the week and many others are gone. I won't get a replacement until early next week. So I've been stuck up in my bedroom watching TV with commercials.

I have no food in my house. I plan to go grocery shopping tomorrow.

On Monday I'm starting Body For Life. I'm doing it with my friend Tina. I'm extremely nervous about this, because it is a strict food regiment and workout schedule. I'm not too nervous about the workout part, but the food part, I don't know. It is a 12 week program. I hope I survive!

My boss missed me while I was gone. It felt good to know that he missed me. I was also missed at the gym. When I went to the gym on Thursday I saw Kali (the Dance Jam instructor) and immediately asked me "where have you been?".

In other news, I got the sad news that my neighbors are moving to Vermont at the end of July. These are not the neighbors I share a wall with. These are the neighbors I share a drive-way with. I really like them, and I'm sad to see them go.

Last night I went out on a ladies night to Into the Fire, a pottery paint place in Arvada. I met some co-workers their. It was a lot of fun. After painting we went out to this bar that had a live band from Austin, TX. Well the bouncer at the club, got a little bit of a crush ...on me. He was very flirty with me, and very touchy feely with me. And when I get touched a lot by the same person, it takes a lot for me to get used to it because I'm not used to being touched. He seems like a nice a guy, but he is 41, which is a little too old. He asked for my number, and I gave it to him. I won't be heartbroken if he doesn't call, in fact I'll probably be a little relievied.

Ok, I think I'm all caught up now.

21st Century Cinderalla?

The Bachelorette. It gets me every time. Every. Single. Time. Why? Well probably because like these people, I am on the search for love. Lifelong lasting love. The main difference, between me and these people? They are beautiful. Which is besides the point, so I'll continue. Like season's past, this one is no different. Like the rest of America (and probably Canada) I love Jillian. How can you not smile every time she says "about"? And if I have a wardrobe question, I'll just turn to her! I want to get my predictions out their before the next episode airs, where it looks like we will find out who has a girlfriend at home. Shame shame boys! Here are my last 3 standing men.
First their is Kiptyn. He is just super cute, and gentlemanly. Plus you could tell Jillian really likes him. Jill needs to get over the whole "he's never been the dumpee thing".
Ed. Aww Ed. He won me over on the most recent episode. Ed is my type of man. So if after this, he can definitely come knocking on my door. Like most of us I don't think Jillian expected Ed to be a top runner. But he took us all by surprise, which gives me a great edge.
Lastly, Jake. I hate to say it but I think Jake will get his heart broken and be the runner up. Which will make him a shoe in for the next Bachelor. Jillian likes him ...a lot. Hello, he's a pilot. What's not too like?! They both really want something to be their, and on some level a true passion is their. But Jill will find out in the 11th hour, it isn't for life.
Their are of course a handful of guys that I just do not like, and hopefully Jillian will figure them out soon enough and send them on their happy little way off of television.

Today's Letter Is: "D"

My friend Emily did a tag of letters. I asked for one, and I was assigned the letter "d".
Here are 10 things I love that begin with the letter "d". Enjoy!

1. Digital Camera - I'm huge picture person. So I love my digital camera. I probably take my camera with him everywhere I go 75% of the time. I love having things documented. And with a digital camera I get to delete the pictures I don't want. Amazing.

2. Denali - My super cute tuxedo cat. She is so lively, cute, and small. She was the runt of her litter, and is reasonably smaller that what an average cat size is. She loves to play catch, purr, and go into the shower just after it was used. She is one reason why I am now both a cat and a dog person.

3. Digital Video Recorder aka DVR - I love my DVR. It multiplies my love for TV. I would never watch TV without it. It cuts down a 60 minute TV show to 40 minutes. And for one of my favorite shows like "DWTS" it cuts it down even more, because all I really watch is the dancing. The person who invited this was pure genius!
4. "Dancing with the Stars" - This of course has to do with my love of dancing. I watch this show, and I seriously wish I would have pursued a professional dancing career. I love it. The intensity, the movement, the outfits, the music. I love performing Dance. So much fun.

5. Decorating - I love decorating. Photo albums, houses, closets, outfits. I would love to go to school for interior design. It is something I think I'm pretty good at. I love color, and finding what goes together. ...finding the unexpected. For me that is what decorating is.
6. Dogs - I've always been a dog person. I grew up with a dog. She was cocker-spaniel mix puppy named Lady. She was so cute, and was just like a puppy up until she passed away over 5 years ago. We had her for 18 years! She had an amazing live, and brought so much love into my parents house growing up. Sometimes I still expect to see her when I return to my parents house. I miss her.

7. Dining - I really enjoy eating out. This is one reason why I love Denver so much. Their is always a new place to go. If I could eat out everyday I probably would. Thankfully though my love for food, as also allowed me to love to cook. But dining out is definitely one of my favorite things to do.
8. Dolphins - I've always really liked dolphins. Mainly because of their connection with the water and swimming. I love the water and I love swimming. I have a dolphin tattoo on my outer right ankle that I love. I have even gone swimming with dolphins in Cozumel. It is an awesome memory!

9. Directions - This is something I'm good at. Mainly because I had to learn my directions when I moved to Denver. But I think it is a talent, because I know a couple of people who have no sense of direction, and it drives me nuts!

10. "Dirty Dancing" - Definitely one of my favorite movies. I love the story, and even thought I've seen it a ton of times, I still feel like every time I watch it I see something different. A classic in my mind.

I have a Crush

Nathan Fillion

One of the things I really really enjoy is TV. I very easily love TV. Thank goodness for my DVR! One of my first TV crushes was on Joey Buchanan on "One Life to Live". OLTL was the soap opera my parents watched when I was younger. I got into OLTL when I was in middle school. And now for the past 3+ years I DVR OLTL everyday, and have watched it everyday since. Nathan Fillion played Joey Buchanan, and I thought he was so cute. Back when I was in MS the younger cast did a ad for American Eagle. And when I saw the print ad in a magazine I went to American Eagle and bought the shirt he was wearing in the ad. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Anyways he was the type of crush where a part of me seriously thought we would end up together. Of course I knew it would never really happen, but in the fantasy part of my heart I always thought "just maybe..." It was always either him or Carson Daly. ;) I seriously thought we would end up together one day too ...until I found out recently he had a baby with his girlfriend, that was a sad day for me.

Anyways, Nathan Fillion hasn't been a regular on OLTL since I was in MS. He was recently on "Desperate Housewives", and he just recently got his very own show on ABC called "Castle". And well I haven't had a chance recently to watch "Castle" until this weekend. And yesterday and today I got to watch all 5 episodes that have come out so far. And I have to say I really enjoy the series so far. Very funny, and some good twists and turns. I would highly recommend it! And seeing him so much this weekend my part of my heart that is full of my fantasies has been going back to my thoughts of us living happily ever after!

Who is your celebrity crush?

My Focus

OMG.
All my focus right now is on watching "After the Final Rose" of the Bachelor.
Jason just got done dumping Melissa.
I can't believe this is happening.

The Bachelor

I watch The Bachelor on ABC. I think I've watched just about every season since it started. Like most, I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I just watched Monday nights episode. My my quite a few twists and turns. My gut is for Nikki. She got the first impression rose, and you can tell that Jason likes her. And well that diamond ring at the end, that's a beauty!
It's weird to think that the show has already ended, put it is just starting on TV. Why does TV do that? I know they have to edit it and all of that stuff, but I guess I just don't really get it. Here's to wishing Jason good luck!

Reviews

So I just got back from lunch with my friend Tressa. She is a reader of my blog, and so I asked her for ideas of what to write about. She didn't really help me. But we came up with writing about reviews.

Book Review
I just got done reading Quaker Summer by Lisa Samson. As I have said I am now reading a lot, as I have also said I'm cheap. And well reading can be an expensive habit, until I finally found my local library! This was a book I got at the library. I didn't really like this book. Their really wasn't a beginning of the book. No introduction to the characters, no back ground, no date or location. Which I think is really weird. At one point in time I didn't really want to finish the book, but I figured I started it I may as well finish it. The story did finally get some depth by the middle. It is a story about a woman who has everything, a loving husband who is a doctor and a 15 year old son, but she is unhappy in life, and trying to find herself. I think this book could have been good if the middle of the story happened at the beginning and the end of the story talked about more of what happened about 3/4's through. The book set up some great stories that didn't take place because the book ended. I wouldn't recommend this book.

Movie Review
Saturday I went to go see My Best Friends Girl. It was a good movie, very funny. I loved Kate Hudson's hair in this movie. Beautiful. I wish I knew how to do my hair like that. Plus Dane Cook. He's not too bad on the eyes. If you like funny movies check it out. I really want to see The Women. I spoke to my friend Tina this weekend and she went to go see this movie with her husband. She said it was a good movie for the dynamics's of women, and the relationship you have with them. I love my girl friendships. I honestly don't know what I would do without them. Each relationship has its own dynamic. Tina said this movie made her want to hang out with the close women in her life-which I am included! It is crazy how life brings different people in your life, and how you work to keep these in your life.

Favorite Movie
This was Tressa's idea. My all time favorite movie is Good Will Hunting. This was when I first fell in love with Ben Affleck. Yummy. I like this movie because it has just the right amount of romance, drama, and humor. I love this quote: "Do you like apples?" "What?" "Do you like apples?" "Yeah, I guess...whatever?" "Well how about these apples!, I got her number!" Cracks me up every time! Great movie.

Favorite Book Series
The Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. Now I'm biased because I almost positive this is the only series of books I've read(in my adult life, do the Babysitters Club books count, I think now) so can it really be my favorite if this is all i've read? Anyways, I love this series. Super funny, and clever. Very easy reading, which I enjoy. These books have suspense, romance, humor, and a little bit of drama. I love the humor the best. These books seriously make me laugh out loud. A few people have recommended the Twilight series books, but I don't know if I would really be into them. I'm not much a vampire type girl.

TV on DVD Review
Six Feet Under, check it out, seriously. I had never even heard of this show until my ex's roommate got the first season on DVD, and we watched it. It's a great show. Drama and humor. And a crazy family to watch, to let you know your not alone.

TV Reviews
So as you can tell that I'm not really giving any reviews. Just telling you what I like. My friend Emily did TV reviews on her blog, and I thought what a great idea, but I have no idea what I would write. I know I would just write about the TV shows I like. So you know what, it's MY blog so that is what I'm going to do. All I can say is thank goodness for my DVR!

Dancing with the Stars - I love to dance. Seeing this show makes me get upset at my mother for not letting me pursue professional dancing. The only thing I watch on this show is the Dancing. I fast forward through all the talking from the judges etc...although I did stop last weeks to watch the crazy old lady talk to the judges. That was some funny stuff! That has the be one awesome thing about being old, you really don't care-so you act however you want.

The Hills - I know I'm sorry. But I love MTV, and I gotta watch it.

The Biggest Loser: Families - I first watched this show last season. And holy cow it is motivational, and at timed de-motivational. I can barely lose 8 pounds in a month right now, let alone 18 in one week! But it has some great pointers which I appreciate.

Grey's Anatomy - Love it. This weekend I watched the season premiere. I like this show because it makes you think about your life without really thinking about your life.

America's Next Top Model - I'm not too sure why I like this show, to tell you the truth, but I do. Actually I do know why. Because I like pictures. I always like seeing the different types of photo shoots they do, and then seeing the final outcome.

Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island - Again MTV, my guilty pleasure. I think I like this show because of the crazy make out sessions!

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency - I told myself not to get into this show, then I saw all of last sessions play and so now I'm watching this session. The male models are hott!

Project Runway - I like clothes.

Private Practice - Like Grey's makes you think about your life without thinking about your life.

Desperate Housewives - I haven't seen the season premier yet, but I'm hoping this season is good. I'm not too sure about the whole 5 years in the future thing. I think it would have been fun to see how things happened to get to this 5 years later. It's the stuff in the middle that makes it good, right!?

Travel

I love to travel. Absolutely love it. Mainly because it is doing stuff I don't normally do, and I love to do things I've never done. Eat somewhere different, try new food, go to different places. Saturday I drove to A Grande Finale to buy my Mom a birthday cake. My friend Tina has this thing-you have to have birthday cake on your birthday. Seems like a simple enough thing, but think about it, when was the last time you had your very own birthday cake for YOUR birthday. I was visiting Tina in Florida for my 26th birthday and she made me my very own birthday cake-german chocolate! And well ever since then I think that people I love need to have birthday cake on their birthday! Anyways I was watching The Foodnetwork about a month ago and saw a new show "Road Tasted with the Neely's" and they were in Denver. The cool thing about this show is all of the places they visit, will ship there food right to you! One of there stops was A Grande Finale in Louisville, CO, which is just north from where I live. It was then I decided I would ship my Mom a cake for her birthday! I drove there on Saturday. To get there I went on a highway I had never been on before. When I go on a road I've never been on before I think it is so exciting. I think to myself "This is a place my car has never been to before." Once I found the place (it is SO cute) I ordered my Mom's cake. And had a breakfast pastry for myself. It was yummy.
Moving on. I have lots coming up and I'm super excited. This weekend I got my T-shirt for Race for the Cure. It is Sunday. I can't wait. I know I won't want to get up early on Sunday, but I know that I will, and once I finish it will feel Great! Then next Wednesday I leave for Chicago. Going to a place I've never been to. I can't wait! I'm meeting my friend Michelle there for her birthday. It is really excited because it has been a really long time since we have celebrated both of our birthdays together. ...I went to see her in San Francisco in January for my birthday. I've been so lucky to do all of the traveling that I do, do. I have to really watch my budget, but it is SO worth it! I wish the timing was a little bit better. My Uncle Billy who has lived in Seattle for a long time, moved back to Albuquerque this past Christmas to get better. And now his wife (my Aunt Luanne) will be flying to Albuquerque the weekend I'll be in Chicago to drive back to Seattle with my Uncle Billy-where he is moving back to. I was originally going to be in Albuqueruqe that weekend for my Mom's birthday(my mom and Michelle share the same birthday.) but when I found out Michelle had extended her job in Madison, I asked if I could met her in Chicago for her birthday. Uncle Bill and Aunt Luanne very rarely make it to Albuquerque, and now that Uncle Bill is moving back to Seattle I'm sad I won't be able to see them. Although I'm very happy I was able to see my Uncle Billy when I was in NM in July. I just wish all of this wasn't happening in the same weekend.
Lots of coming up! And I will have pictures to post!
