words to live by

i'm very quickly running out of things to blog about. so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thankfully i did come up with something to "say" rather than, i went to the gym today. i decided to bring out my Quote Book. I date most of the things I do. The first date in this quote book is July 23, 1999. I haven't updated it in a really long time. The last quote is dated November 30, 2002. Please feel free to share some of your favorite quotes.
As i read through this book, here are some of my favorites.

"Fix your eyes not on what is seen but what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

"I'm not saying it's going to be easy, I'm saying it's going to be worth it."

"When little things get your down, take a second to contemplate the size of the sun or the distance to the stars. It really puts things in perspective."

"An ocean of sadness often borders the shores of paradise. Keep swimming and you'll make it."

"Never stop looking for new challenges. You may discover special talents, and you never know what you might be absolutely brilliant at."

Who is the happiest of men? He who values the merits of others, and in their pleasure takes joy, even as though 'twere his own.
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I love this, because it is those that we truly care for that we gain pleasure in their triumphs and sorrow in their trials...and it should never, ever be the other way around. I hope all your dreams come true, April. During your times of triumph, I'll be there to celebrate with you and during your times of trial, I'll be there to hold your hand.. And, without a doubt, I know you will reciprocate, because that is the beautiful person you are....cannot wait to see you this weekend for our New Moon Marathon! Woo Hoo! -Love Kari

don't have quotes right now but maybe later.

But a cute joke:

A blonde was given a new computer at work and her boss told her to make up her password;
later the boss asked why her password was soooooooooo long!?

password: mickey, minnie, goofy, sleepy, sneezy, dopey and Sacramento.
The blonde said well the instructions said your password was suppose to be Six Characters and a Capital!!!

Anyway - I thought it was funny!

Love,
Mom

Hope it makes your day; it did mine.
