here is why it is weird:
wedding - i'm currently not dating anyone, so the idea of a wedding for me is pretty far fetched.
cake - something i currently can't eat.
none the less doesn't mean that i don't want both, so why not put them together!? plus in all honesty i have many details of my wedding planned. ...when/if i ever get married, it'll be awesome!
i like this one because of the colors and the random patterns on both tiers
the last one shown comes from a grande finale. the awesome bakery in louisville. when/if i do get married this will be the place with the honor of providing me with my wedding cake!elliptical 45min

I love a grande finale! They have the best hot chocolate, and I am still waiting for you to send it to me :).
So pretty! I like the last one best, but I'm more of a simple gal anyway. Our wedding cake was from ABC cakes in Albuquerque, and to this day, it's the best (yummiest) wedding cake I've ever tasted. Most wedding cakes to me are just for looks and don't taste very good. But ours was cute AND delish.
Yes, I too vote for a grande finale. Although, they are all beautiful and creative. And as you know as long as there is a chocolate corner for me I'm happy!!
Love MOM
oh fun! I love wedding cakes - they can be so fun or so elegant or so both! the top one is my favorite - I love the color combo and the whimsy! :-)
You are truly not the only one struggling. I've got your back!
So the latest 'trend' in cakes is having a dummy cake made. Then at the very bottom of all the tiers there is a 'secret' door that opens, revealing a slice of cake for the couple to share. It's suppose to save the couple money. But what I don't get is didn't a cake have to be baked to get the hidden slice? Maybe there is a single slice cake pan??
Either way, cake is best when dipped in milk.
